The design challenge for this project was the introduction of 90 attached townhouse units on a small parcel of land adjacent to Webster Lake, while at the same time preserving the existing trees and providing each unit with a water view. The buildings were located so that each unit had a clear view to the water. The sensitive siting of the units, parking areas and driveways retained most of the large existing trees. The site's proximity to the town's primary well field necessitated the design of a drainage system that discharged all storm water into the ground
