In this project, 138 attached townhouses were planned for 120 acres of wooded land fragmented with wetlands adjacent to Route I-495. John G. Crowe Associates, Inc. developed a site plan that retained the rural character of the land and minimized wetland impacts. Housing units were clustered together in upland areas in locations that maximized the distance from the highway and preserved as many trees as possible. The buildings surround a common area, which serves as a focal point for the community, with a clubhouse, pond, swimming pool, and tennis courts. Each residential building was designed to have a common garden entry.
