Gloucester Crossing

Gloucester Crossing is a mixed-use development in Gloucester, Massachusetts.  The project will include total approximately 195,000 square feet (sf) of retail uses, a 100-key hotel, and up to 100 units of senior housing (e.g., assisted living). The retail component will include a variety of uses, including an anchor store, in-line stores and restaurants.  The design of the project was master planned to emphasize a village theme with buildings designed to reflect local architecture in form and cladding. The pedestrian nature of this mixed use development is further reinforced by incorporating landscape elements and street furnishings such as articulated sidewalks, lighting and benches, all to encourage strolling between the buildings and other uses. A pedestrian walkway will also link the new retail development to the adjacent neighborhood to allow residents to walk directly to the project.  The assisted living, which anchors the other end of the project, will accommodate up to 100 units of senior housing in one and two bedroom configurations.
