Located on the site of a former hospital, Jefferson at Waltham housing development was a challenging site to develop and permit. Our final design, balanced the agressive housing program, site topographic constraints, and was successfully able to mitigate the concerns of the community to provide a successful site design. The new housing development will contain 19 townhouses, 250 condominiums, and a clubhouse with tennis courts and a swimming pool.
JGCA in conjunction with ADD Inc., provided schematic site planning and design services, wetland flagging and environmental permitting, civil engineering, and extensive local site permitting which included numerous local variances. Extensive community dialog throughout the permitting process, resulted in final design which successfully balanced the concerns of the community and the clients housing program.
