This 177,000 square foot office/research facility is located within Waltham Woods Corporate Center as well as the watershed of the Cambridge Reservoir. Wherever possible on the site, the storm drainage system was designed to treat and infiltrate storm water runoff back into the ground water. Whereas previously a wooded site there was no treatment of storm water runoff prior to discharge from the site, best management practices and a wetpond were constructed at the site to minimize impacts to the Reservoir.
The site was initially designed and constructed to allow for a first class Office Development for Spaulding and Slye. The site plan was later revised to incorporate a Japanese Garden for Praecis Pharmaceutical.
